Client Business Support (CBS) is a client focused processing department that enables the bank to demonstrate that a virtual bank can offer superior client experience by efficiently and effectively delivering on the promises made to our clients.
The CBS department is made up of several teams; each team plays a unique role in providing support for both Deposit/Chequing and Lending products.

The Associate, Discharge’s main responsibility is to remove the mortgage registered interest of Tangerine by preparing mortgage discharge documentation for all Provinces across Canada. The role also includes preparation of Mortgage Discharge Statements and the payout of the Mortgage. The associate is required to have a thorough understanding of the various registered mortgage charges throughout Canada and will be responsible to validate for accuracy of the discharge document/statements.
The successful candidate must have the ability to pay attention to detail and meet predetermined productivity and Quality Assurance Standards. The candidate must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in order to establish a solid working relationship with both internal and external clients. This position offers the successful candidate an opportunity to gain experience in Client Business Support along with developing a large understanding of various aspects of the Mortgage Product. The Associate, Discharge will report directly to the Manager of Discharge and Servicing.
The Associate, Discharge will be working in a traditional office environment and may be subject to special working conditions as needed by the business. Special working conditions may cover a range of circumstances from regular evening and weekend work, overtime, shift work, working outdoors and/or working with challenging clients.
