  • Job Description



    • Support and Manage the Day to Day activities for members of the Tangerine Leadership Team
    • Interact, coordinate and engage with various levels of the organization to support members of the Tangerine Leadership Team



    Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing with a dotted line to the Vice President of Client Experience, the Administraive Assistant provides executive level administrative support to these member of the Tangerine Leadership Team to maximize their effectiveness, productivity and efficiency.

    This position is accountable for the smooth operation of these leaders by understanding needs, managing schedules and filtering workflow into the office. In addition, this position must provide excellent customer service and communication both internally and externally. The Administrative Assistant is responsible for performing various administrative functions, general office management, booking travel, managing schedules/calendar, record keeping and assisting with ad hoc requests by the leaders in a timely and professional manner.



    • Proactively and actively manage, coordinate and organize daily activities and workflow of the Executive.
    • Communicate with senior level internal and external contacts in a professional manner ensuring confidentiality.
    • Manage meeting conflicts in a professional and proactive manner, manage and screen all incoming calls and note details for review or redirection to appropriate individual(s).
    • Compose general correspondence, edit documentation, record minutes of meetings, collect data to prepare monthly reports and other such documentation.
    • Manage all expense reporting.
    • Manage all department vacation tracking.
    • Coordinate travel arrangements.
    • Other duties as assigned.


    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:                                                                                     

    • Education/Experience
      • Post-secondary diploma in a secretarial or related program
      • Experience in an Administrative role
    • Technical Skills
      • Proficient in Microsoft Office software, particularly Outlook

    WORKING CONDITIONS:                                  

    The Administrative Assistant will be working in a traditional office environment and may be subject to special working conditions as needed by the business. Special working conditions may cover a range of circumstances from regular evening and weekend work, overtime, shift work, working outdoors and/or working with challenging clients.
