ROLE Purpose:

The Performance Measurement Analyst (PMA) is responsible for providing performance tracking to measure the health of the business, our Clients and marketing activities. This individual is accountable to provide measurement tracking vs. benchmarks in an efficient and effective manner, leveraging new technologies to create dynamic dashboards to simplify the presentation of results and aid marketing in managing priority measures.


As a key member of the performance measurement center of excellence (COE), the incumbent is expected to provide KPI and standard metric reporting to the business on a regular basis. The Performance Measurement Analyst is responsible for real-time measurement to inform progress on plans and raise performance areas requiring additional focus and analysis.


As the central point of contact for the health of Marketing performance, the Performance Measurement Analyst will contribute to building a data-driven decision making culture in marketing, with thought leadership through analytics.



  • Manage the development and execution of Marketing Performance Measurement COE. These areas of measurement include:
    • Marketing KPI performance
    • Client Segment & Client Experience Dashboards
    • Marketing Budget/investment efficiency and effectiveness
    • Channel measurement - Web/Online, Social, PR
    • Marketing workflow/process measurement
  • Provide business insights and recommendations to improve the capabilities of the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) and utilization of Marketing Measurement tools.
  • Lead performance measurement requirements gathering and development with key business stakeholders.
  • Liaise with IT and BI to continue improving the capabilities of the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) and utilization of Marketing Analytic tools.
  • Develop trusted relationships with key decision makers at all levels within Marketing and other areas of the business.
  • Monitor and provide recommendations on marketing performance and key performance indicators.

Minimum Qualifications:                                                                                                                                                  

  • Education/Experience
    • University or College Degree in Mathematics, Statistics or Economics preferred or equivalent full-time work experience of at least 3 years
    • Experience with BI tools
  • Technical Skills
    • Advanced Microsoft BI Stack – Power Pivot, Power View, SQL Server
    • Advanced SAS skills – Base, Stat, Enterprise Guide, Enterprise Mining
    • Understanding and experience working with relational databases and data warehouses
    • Advanced data mining capabilities
  • Abilities
    • Flexible, adaptable and willing to challenge the status quo
  • Attributes
    • Strong communication skills both written and vernal


WORKING CONDITIONS:                                  

The Performance Measurement Analyst will be working in a traditional office environment and may be subject to special working conditions as needed by the business. Special working conditions may cover a range of circumstances from regular evening and weekend work, overtime, shift work, working outdoors and/or working with challenging clients.
